Genesis: Chapter 1

Genesis 1:1-5: בְּרֵאשִׁית, בָּרָא אֱלֹהִים, אֵת הַשָּׁמַיִם, וְאֵת הָאָרֶץ׃ וְהָאָרֶץ, הָיְתָה תֹהוּ וָבֹהוּ, וְחֹשֶׁךְ, עַל-פְּנֵי תְהוֹם; וְרוּחַ אֱלֹהִים, מְרַחֶפֶת עַל-פְּנֵי הַמָּיִם׃ וַיֹּאמֶר אֱלֹהִים, יְהִי אוֹר; וַיְהִי-אוֹר׃ וַיַּרְא אֱלֹהִים אֶת-הָאוֹר, כִּי-טוֹב; וַיַּבְדֵּל אֱלֹהִים, בֵּין הָאוֹר וּבֵין הַחֹשֶׁךְ׃ וַיִּקְרָא אֱלֹהִים לָאוֹר יוֹם, וְלַחֹשֶׁךְ קָרָא לָיְלָה; וַיְהִי-עֶרֶב וַיְהִי-בֹקֶר, יוֹם אֶחָד׃

In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was formless and void, cloaked in darkness over the abyss, while the Spirit (Ruach HaKodesh), a creation of God, hovered over the waters. Then God proclaimed, "Let there be light," and light came into existence. God saw that the light was good and distinguished it from the darkness. He named the light "day," and the darkness He named "night." Thus, there was evening, and there was morning—the first day.

Quran 39:69: وَخَلَقَ اللَّهُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ بِالْحَقِّ ۚ وَلِتُجْزَىٰ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ بِمَا كَسَبَتْ وَهُمْ لَا يُظْلَمُونَ

And Allah created the heavens and the earth in truth. Indeed, in this is a sign for the believers.

Quran 2:117: بَدِيعُ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٲتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۖ وَإِذَا قَضَىٰٓ أَمْرً۬ا فَإِنَّمَا يَقُولُ لَهُ ۥ كُن فَيَكُونُ

The Originator of the heavens and the earth. When He decrees a matter, He simply says to it, "Be," and it is.

Quran 41:11: ثُمَّ ٱسْتَوَىٰٓ إِلَى ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَهِىَ دُخَانٌۭ فَقَالَ لَهَا وَلِلْأَرْضِ ٱئْتِيَا طَوْعًا أَوْ كَرْهًۭا ۖ قَالَتَآ أَتَيْنَا طَآئِعِينَ

Then He directed Himself to the heaven while it was smoke and said to it and to the earth, "Come willingly or by compulsion." They replied, "We come willingly."

Quran 36:82: إِنَّمَا أَمْرُهُ إِذَا أَرَادَ شَيْئًا أَن يَقُولَ لَهُ كُن فَيَكُونُ

His command, when He intends a thing, is only that He says to it, "Be," and it is.

Quran 24:35: اللَّهُ نُورُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ ۚ مَثَلُ نُورِهِ كَمِشْكَاةٍ فِيهَا مِصْبَاحٌ ۖ الْمِصْبَاحُ فِي زُجَاجَةٍ ۖ الزُّجَاجَةُ كَأَنَّهَا كَوْكَبٌ دُرِّيٌّ يُوقَدُ مِن شَجَرَةٍ مُّبَارَكَةٍ زَيْتُونِةٍ لَّا شَرْقِيَّةٍ وَلَا غَرْبِيَّةٍ يَكَادُ زَيْتُهَا يُضِيءُ وَلَوْ لَمْ تَمْسَسْهُ نَارٌ ۚ نُّورٌ عَلَىٰ نُورٍ ۗ يَهْدِي اللَّهُ لِنُورِهِ مَن يَشَاءُ ۚ وَيَضْرِبُ اللَّهُ الْأَمْثَالَ لِلنَّاسِ ۗ وَاللَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيمٌ

Allah is the Light of the heavens and the earth. His light is like a niche containing a lamp; the lamp is encased in glass, and the glass gleams like a brilliant star, illuminated by the oil of a blessed olive tree, situated neither in the east nor the west. This oil almost radiates light even without being touched by fire. It is light upon light. Allah guides to His light whom He wills, and He presents parables for the people. Allah is All-Knowing.

Quran 24:44: ٱللَّهُ يُدَبِّرُ ٱلَّيْلَ وَٱلنَّهَارَ ۚ إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَعِبْرَةًۭ لِّأُو۟لِى ٱلْأَبْصَـٰرِ

Allah alternates the night and the day. Indeed, in this is a lesson for those who have vision.

Genesis 1:6-8: וַיֹּאמֶר אֱלֹהִים, יְהִי רָקִיעַ בְּתוֹךְ הַמָּיִם, וִיהִי מַבְדִּיל, בֵּין מַיִם לָמָיִם׃ וַיַּעַשׂ אֱלֹהִים, אֶת-הָרָקִיעַ, וַיַּבְדֵּל בֵּין הַמַּיִם אֲשֶׁר מִתַּחַת לָרָקִיעַ וּבֵין הַמַּיִם אֲשֶׁר מֵעַל לָרָקִיעַ; וַיְהִי-כֵן׃ וַיִּקְרָא אֱלֹהִים לָרָקִיעַ, שָׁמָיִם; וַיְהִי-עֶרֶב וַיְהִי-בֹקֶר, יוֹם שֵׁנִי׃

And God ordained, "Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters." Thus, God fashioned the firmament, separating the waters beneath it from the waters above it. And it was so. God named the firmament "Heaven." And there was evening, and there was morning—the second day.

Quran 21:30: أَوَلَمْ يَرَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓا۟ أَنَّ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ كَانَتَا رَتْقًۭا فَفَتَقْنَـٰهُمَا‌ۖ وَجَعَلْنَا مِنَ ٱلْمَآءِ كُلَّ شَىْءٍ حَىٍّ‌ۖ أَفَلَا يُؤْمِنُونَ

Do not those who disbelieve see that the heavens and the earth were a closed-up mass, then We opened them apart? And We made from water every living thing. Will they not then believe?

Quran 21:31: وَجَعَلْنَا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ رَوَٰسِىَ أَن تَمِيدَ بِهِمْ وَجَعَلْنَا فِيهَا فِجَاجًۭا سُبُلًۭا لَّعَلَّهُمْ يَهْتَدُونَ

And We placed within the earth firmly set mountains, lest it should shift with them, and We made therein mountain passes as roads so that they might be guided.

Quran 21:32: وَجَعَلْنَا ٱلسَّمَآءَ سَقْفًۭا مَّحْفُوظًۭا ۖ وَهُمْ عَنْ ءَايَـٰتِهَا مُعْرِضُونَ

And We fashioned the sky as a sheltering canopy, yet they turn away from its signs.

Quran 50:7: وَٱلسَّمَآءَ بَنَيْنَـٰهَا بِأَيْدٍۢ وَإِنَّا لَمُوسِعُونَ

And the heaven We constructed with strength, and indeed, We are its extender.

Quran 25:53: وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِى مَرَجَ ٱلْبَحْرَيْنِ هَـٰذَا عَذْبٌۭ فُرَاتٌۭ وَهَـٰذَا مِلْحٌۭ أُجَاجٌۭ وَجَعَلَ بَيْنَهُمَا بَرْزَخًۭا وَحِجْرًۭا مَّحْجُورًۭا

And it is He who has unleashed the two seas, one palatable and sweet, and the other salty and bitter, placing between them a barrier and a forbidding boundary.

Quran 41:12: فَقَضَـٰهُنَّ سَبْعَ سَمَـٰوَٰتٍۢ فِى يَوْمَيْنِ وَأَوْحَىٰ فِى كُلِّ سَمَآءٍ أَمْرَهَا ۚ وَزَيَّنَّا ٱلسَّمَآءَ ٱلدُّنْيَا بِمَصَـٰبِيحَ وَحِفْظًۭا ۚ ذَٰلِكَ تَقْدِيرُ ٱلْعَزِيزِ ٱلْعَلِيمِ

Thus He completed them as seven heavens in two Days, and He assigned to each heaven its decree. And He adorned the nearest (lowest) heaven with lamps (stars) as an embellishment and protection. Such is the decree of Him, the All-Mighty, the All-Knower.

Quran 2:29: هُوَ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ لَكُم مَّا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ جَمِيعًۭا ثُمَّ ٱسْتَوَىٰٓ إِلَى ٱلسَّمَآءِ فَسَوَّىٰهُنَّ سَبْعَ سَمَـٰوَٰتٍۢ ۚ وَهُوَ بِكُلِّ شَىْءٍ عَلِيمٌۭ

He is the one who created for you all that is on the earth. Then He directed His attention to the heaven and made them seven heavens. He is the All-Knower of everything.

Genesis 1:9-13: וַיֹּאמֶר אֱלֹהִים, יִקָּווּ הַמַּיִם מִתַּחַת הַשָּׁמַיִם אֶל-מָקוֹם אֶחָד, וְתֵרָאֶה הַיַּבָּשָׁה; וַיְהִי-כֵן׃ וַיִּקְרָא אֱלֹהִים לַיַּבָּשָׁה אֶרֶץ, וּלְמִקְוֵה הַמַּיִם קָרָא יַמִּים; וַיַּרְא אֱלֹהִים, כִּי-טוֹב׃ וַיֹּאמֶר אֱלֹהִים, תַּדְשֵׁא הָאָרֶץ דֶּשֶׁא עֵשֶׂב מַזְרִיעַ זֶרַע, עֵץ פְּרִי עֹשֶׂה פְּרִי לְמִינוֹ, אֲשֶׁר זַרְעוֹ בוֹ עַל-הָאָרֶץ; וַיְהִי-כֵן׃ וַתֹּצֵא הָאָרֶץ דֶּשֶׁא עֵשֶׂב מַזְרִיעַ זֶרַע, לְמִינֵהוּ, וְעֵץ עֹשֶׂה-פְּרִי אֲשֶׁר זַרְעוֹ-בוֹ לְמִינֵהוּ; וַיַּרְא אֱלֹהִים, כִּי-טוֹב׃ וַיְהִי-עֶרֶב וַיְהִי-בֹקֶר, יוֹם שְׁלִישִׁי׃

And God ordained, "Let the waters beneath the heavens convene into one expanse, and let the dry land emerge." And so it transpired. God named the arid land Earth, and the congregation of waters He designated Seas. And God beheld that it was commendable. Then God decreed, "Let the earth flourish with verdant growth: herbs yielding seeds and trees bearing fruits of their kind, each with seeds within, upon the land"; and it came to pass. And the earth yielded vegetation: herbs yielding seeds according to their distinct kinds, and trees bearing fruits with seeds within them, each in accordance with its kind. And God observed that it was commendable. Thus, the passage from evening to morning marked the culmination of the third day.

Quran 13:3: وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِى مَدَّ ٱلْأَرْضَ وَجَعَلَ فِيهَا رَوَاسِىَ وَأَنْهَـٰرًۭا ۖ وَمِن كُلِّ ٱلثَّمَرَٰتِ جَعَلَ فِيهَا زَوْجَيْنِ ٱثْنَيْنِ ۖ يُغْشِى ٱلَّيْلَ ٱلنَّهَارَ ۚ إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَءَايَـٰتٍۢ لِّقَوْمٍۢ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ

And it is He who expanded the earth and embedded therein firmly anchored mountains and rivers; and from all the fruits He created therein pairs. He causes the night to envelop the day. Indeed, in that are signs for a perceptive people.

Quran 41:10: وَجَعَلَ فِيهَا رَوَٰسِىَ مِن فَوْقِهَا وَبَـٰرَكَ فِيهَا وَقَدَّرَ فِيهَآ أَقْوَٰتَهَا فِىٓ أَرْبَعَةِ أَيَّامٍۢ سَوَى ٱلسَّآئِلِينَ

And He stationed firmly set mountains upon the earth's surface, blessing it and apportioning therein sustenance for its inhabitants in four days without differentiation - for the enlightenment of those who inquire.

Quran 78:15-16: لِّنُخْرِجَ بِهِۦ حَبًّۭا وَنَبَاتًۭا وَجَنَّـٰتٍ أَلْفَافًا

Therefore, through it, We cause grains, vegetation, and gardens of interconnected growth to flourish.

Quran 36:33-35: وَءَايَةٌۭ لَّهُمُ ٱلْأَرْضُ ٱلْمَيْتَةُ أَحْيَيْنَـٰهَا وَأَخْرَجْنَا مِنْهَا حَبًّۭا فَمِنْهُ يَأْكُلُونَ وَجَعَلْنَا فِيهَا جَنَّـٰتٍۢ مِّن نَّخِيلٍۢ وَأَعْنَـٰبٍۢ وَفَجَّرْنَا فِيهَا مِنَ ٱلْعُيُونِ لِيَأْكُلُوا۟ مِن ثَمَرِهِۦ وَمَا عَمِلَتْهُ أَيْدِيهِمْ ۖ أَفَلَا يَشْكُرُونَ

A testament for them is the barren earth: We revived it and yielded from it grains, from which they nourish themselves. We adorned it with gardens of palm trees and grapevines, and caused springs to gush forth from it - all so they may partake of its bounty. Yet, their hands did not create it. Will they not, then, show gratitude?

Quran 16:11: يُنبِتُ لَكُم بِهِ ٱلزَّرْعَ وَٱلزَّيْتُونَ وَٱلنَّخِيلَ وَٱلْأَعْنَـٰبَ وَمِن كُلِّ ٱلثَّمَرَٰتِ ۗ إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَءَايَةًۭ لِّقَوْمٍۢ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ

He causes to flourish for you thereby the crops, the olives, the palm trees, the grapevines, and all manner of fruits. Indeed, in that are signs for a people who reflect.

Quran 6:99: وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِىٓ أَنزَلَ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءًۭ فَأَخْرَجْنَا بِهِۦ نَبَاتَ كُلِّ شَىْءٍۢ فَأَخْرَجْنَا مِنْهُ خَضِرًۭا نُّخْرِجُ مِنْهُ حَبًّۭا مُّتَرَاكِبًۭا وَمِنَ ٱلنَّخْلِ مِن طَلْعِهَا قِنْوَانٌۭ دَانِيَةٌۭ وَجَنَّـٰتٍۢ مِّنْ أَعْنَـٰبٍۢ وَٱلزَّيْتُونَ وَٱلرُّمَّانَ مُشْتَبِهًۭا وَغَيْرَ مُتَشَـٰبِهٍ ۗ ٱنظُرُوٓا۟ إِلَىٰ ثَمَرِهِۦ إِذَآ أَثْمَرَ وَيَنْعِهِۦٓ ۚ إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكُمْ لَءَايَـٰتٍۢ لِّقَوْمٍۢ يُؤْمِنُونَ

It is We who send down rain from the sky, and through it, We bring forth the growth of all things. From this rain, We produce greenery, from which We generate layers of grains. And from the palm trees, emerge fruit in clusters hanging low. We also create gardens of grapevines, olives, and pomegranates, resembling one another yet distinct. Reflect upon the fruits as they mature and ripen. Indeed, in this are signs for those who believe.

Genesis 1:14-19: וַיֹּאמֶר אֱלֹהִים, יְהִי מְאֹרֹת בִּרְקִיעַ הַשָּׁמַיִם, לְהַבְדִּיל, בֵּין הַיּוֹם וּבֵין הַלָּיְלָה; וְהָיוּ לְאֹתֹת וּלְמוֹעֲדִים וּלְיָמִים וְשָׁנִים׃ וְהָיוּ לִמְאוֹרֹת בִּרְקִיעַ הַשָּׁמַיִם, לְהָאִיר עַל-הָאָרֶץ; וַיְהִי-כֵן׃ וַיַּעַשׂ אֱלֹהִים אֶת-שְׁנֵי הַמְּאֹרֹת הַגְּדֹלִים, אֶת-הַמָּאוֹר הַגָּדֹל לְמֶמְשֶׁלֶת הַיּוֹם, וְאֶת-הַמָּאוֹר הַקָּטֹן לְמֶמְשֶׁלֶת הַלָּיְלָה, וְאֵת הַכּוֹכָבִים׃ וַיִּתֵּן אֹתָם אֱלֹהִים בִּרְקִיעַ הַשָּׁמַיִם, לְהָאִיר עַל-הָאָרֶץ׃ וְלִמְשֹׁל בַּיּוֹם וּבַלַּיְלָה, וּלֲהַבְדִּיל, בֵּין הָאוֹר וּבֵין הַחֹשֶׁךְ; וַיַּרְא אֱלֹהִים, כִּי-טוֹב׃ וַיְהִי-עֶרֶב וַיְהִי-בֹקֶר, יוֹם רְבִיעִי׃

And God decreed, "Let there be luminaries in the expanse of the heavens to distinguish between the day and the night. Let them serve as signs, marking seasons, days, and years, and let them illumine the earth." And it came to pass. God fashioned the two great luminaries—the sun to govern the day and the moon to govern the night—and He adorned the sky with stars. God positioned them in the expanse of the heavens to illuminate the earth, to preside over the day and the night, and to differentiate between light and darkness. And God observed that it was commendable. Thus, the passage from evening to morning marked the culmination of the fourth day.

Quran 7:54: إِنَّ رَبَّكُمُ اللَّهُ الَّذِي خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ فِي سِتَّةِ أَيَّامٍ ثُمَّ اسْتَوَىٰ عَلَى الْعَرْشِ ۖ يُغْشِي اللَّيْلَ النَّهَارَ يَطْلُبُهُ حَثِيثًا وَالشَّمْسَ وَالْقَمَرَ وَالنُّجُومَ مُسَخَّرَاتٍ بِأَمْرِهِ ۗ أَلَا لَهُ الْخَلْقُ وَالْأَمْرُ ۗ تَبَارَكَ اللَّهُ رَبُّ الْعَالَمِينَ

Truly, your Lord is Allah, who created the heavens and the earth in six days and then ascended above the Throne. He veils the night with the day, swiftly pursuing it; and He created the sun, the moon, and the stars, all subject to His command. Without a doubt, His is the dominion and the decree; glorified is Allah, the Lord of all worlds.

Quran 10:5: وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِى جَعَلَ ٱلشَّمْسَ ضِيَآءًۭ وَٱلْقَمَرَ نُورًۭا وَقَدَّرَهُۥ مَنَازِلَ لِتَعْلَمُوا۟ عَدَدَ ٱلسِّنِينَ وَٱلْحِسَابَ ۚ مَا خَلَقَ ٱللَّهُ ذَٰلِكَ إِلَّا بِٱلْحَقِّ ۚ يُفَصِّلُ ٱلْءَايَـٰتِ لِقَوْمٍۢ يَعْلَمُونَ

And it is He who rendered the sun a radiant light and the moon a luminescent orb, and ordained for it stages, so that you may reckon the years and measure time. Allah has not created this except in truth. And it is He who expounds the signs for a people who comprehend.

Quran 41:37: وَمِنْ ءَايَـٰتِهِۦ ٱلَّيْلُ وَٱلنَّهَارُ وَٱلشَّمْسُ وَٱلْقَمَرُ ۚ لَا تَسْجُدُوا۟ لِلشَّمْسِ وَلَا لِلْقَمَرِ وَٱسْجُدُوا۟ لِلَّهِ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَهُنَّ إِن كُنتُمْ إِيَّاهُ تَعْبُدُونَ

And among His signs are the night and day, and the sun and moon. Do not prostrate to the sun or the moon, but prostrate to Allah, who created them, if it is truly Him that you worship."

Genesis 1:19-23: וַיְהִי־עֶ֥רֶב וַיְהִי־בֹ֖קֶר יֹ֥ום רְבִיעִֽי׃וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אֱלֹהִ֗ים יִשְׁרְצ֨וּ הַמַּ֜יִם שֹׁרֶ֤ץ נֶ֙פֶשׁ֙ חַיָּ֣ה וְעֹוף֩ יְעֹופֵ֨ף עַל־הָאָ֜רֶץ עַל־פְּנֵ֣י רְקִ֗יעַ הַשָּׁמַ֤יִם׀וַיִּבְרָ֨א אֱלֹהִ֤ים ׀ אֶת־הַתַּנִּינִם֙ הַגְּדֹלִ֔ים וְאֵ֣ת כָּל־נֶ֣פֶשׁ הַ֠חַיָּה הָֽרֹמֶ֤שֶׂת אֲשֶׁר־שָׁרְצוּ֙ הַמַּ֔יִם לְמִֽינֵהֶ֔ם וְאֵ֖ת כָּל־עֹ֣וף כָּנָ֑ף לְמִינֵ֗הוּ וַיַּ֤רְא אֱלֹהִים֙ כִּי־טֹ֣וב׀וַיְבָ֧רֶךְ אֹתָ֛ם אֱלֹהִ֖ים לֵאמֹ֑ר פְּר֣וּ וּרְב֗וּ וּמִלְא֤וּ אֶת־הַמַּ֨יִם֙ בַּיַּמִּ֔ים וְהָעֹ֖וף יִרֶ֥ב בָּאָֽרֶץ׃וַֽיְהִי־עֶ֥רֶב וַֽיְהִי־בֹ֖קֶר יֹ֥ום חֲמִישִֽׁי׃

And there was evening and there was morning, marking the fourth day. And God decreed, "Let the waters teem with swarms of living creatures, and let birds soar above the earth across the vast expanse of the heavens." Thus, God fashioned the magnificent sea creatures and all living beings that glide through the waters, each according to its kind, and every winged creature according to its unique nature. And God perceived that it was excellent. Then God bestowed His blessings upon them, decreeing, "Be fruitful and multiply, filling the waters in the seas, and let birds abound upon the earth." And there was evening and there was morning, signaling the arrival of the fifth day.

Quran 2:164: يَعْرُجُ الطَّيْرُ بِجَنَاحَيْهِ وَيَقْعُدُ الْحَوْرُ عَلَى ظُهُورِ الْبَحْرِ ۚ لَا يَأْخُذُهُ سِنَةٌ وَلَا نَوْمٌ ۚ وَاللَّهُ عَلِيمٌ بِمَا يَفْعَلُونَ

The birds stretch their necks into the air and gracefully descend to the earth, completely surrounded by the air. Surely, Allah sees everything they do.

Quran 6:96: الَّذِي جَعَلَ لَكُم مِّنَ الشَّجَرِ الْأَخْضَرِ نَارًا فَإِذَا أَنتُم مِّنْهُ تُوقِدُونَ

He is the One who provided you with fire from the green tree, allowing you to ignite it for warmth and light.

Quran 35:13: يُولِجُ اللَّيْلَ فِي النَّهَارِ وَيُولِجُ النَّهَارَ فِي اللَّيْلِ وَسَخَّرَ الشَّمْسَ وَالْقَمَرَ كُلٌّ يَجْرِي لِأَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى ۚ ذَٰلِكُمُ اللَّهُ رَبُّكُمْ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ ۚ وَالَّذِينَ تَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِهِ مَا يَمْلِكُونَ مِن قِطْمِيرٍ

He seamlessly blends the night into the day, and the day into the night, and has placed the sun and the moon in their orbits, each following its prescribed path. This is Allah, your Lord; all dominion belongs to Him. And those you call upon besides Him have no power, not even the weight of a tiny seed shell.

Genesis 1:24-31:וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אֱלֹהִ֗ים תּוֹצֵ֨א הָאָ֜רֶץ נֶ֤פֶשׁ חַיָּה֙ לְמִינָ֔הּ בְּהֵמָה֙ וָרֶ֔מֶשׂ וְחַ֖יְתוֹ־אֶ֣רֶץ לְמִינָ֑הּ וַֽיְהִי־כֵֽן׃ וַיַּ֣עַשׂ אֱלֹהִים֩ אֶת־חַיַּ֨ת הָאָ֜רֶץ לְמִינָ֗הּ וְאֶת־הַבְּהֵמָה֙ לְמִינָ֔הּ וְאֵ֛ת כָּל־רֶ֥מֶשׂ הָֽאֲדָמָ֖ה לְמִינֵ֑הוּ וַיַּ֥רְא אֱלֹהִ֖ים כִּי־טֹֽוב׃ וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אֱלֹהִ֗ים נַֽעֲשֶׂ֥ה אָדָם֙ בְּצַלְמֵ֔נוּ כִּדְמוּתֵ֖נּוּ וְיִרְדּ֣וּ בִדְגַ֤ת הַיָּ֜ם֙ וּבְעֹ֣וף הַשָּׁמַ֗יִם וּבַבְּהֵמָה֙ וּבְכָל־הָאָ֔רֶץ וּבְכָל־הָרֶ֖מֶשׂ הָֽרֹמֵ֥שׂ עַל־הָאָֽרֶץ׃ וַיִּבְרָ֨א אֱלֹהִ֤ים׀ אֶת־הָֽאָדָם֙ בְּצַלְמֹ֔ו בְּצֶ֥לֶם אֱלֹהִ֖ים בָּרָ֣א אֹתֹ֑ו זָכָ֥ר וּנְקֵבָ֖ה בָּרָ֥א אֹתָֽם׃ וַיְבָ֣רֶךְ אֹתָם֮ אֱלֹהִים֒ וַיֹּ֨אמֶר לָהֶ֜ם אֱלֹהִ֗ים פְּר֤וּ וּרְבוּ֙ וּמִלְא֣וּ אֶת־הָאָ֔רֶ

God ordained, "Let the earth teem with an array of living beings, each distinctive: majestic creatures roaming the fields, agile crawlers, and magnificent denizens of the wilderness, each crafted in its unique splendor." And so it unfolded according to His divine command. God intricately fashioned the creatures of the earth, each bearing its own form, and the beasts, each categorized by its distinctive essence, along with every creeping entity upon the soil, each exhibiting its singular nature. God beheld His creation in its sublime perfection. Then, God proclaimed, "Let Us shape humanity in the likeness of man, granting them dominion over the marine life, the avian inhabitants of the skies, and all creatures inhabiting the expanses of the earth." Thus, God sculpted life in the image of humans, creating them as both male and female, and bestowed upon them His divine favor. And God commanded them, "Multiply abundantly, fill the earth, and take care of the marine life, the birds of the skies, and every living creature on the land."

Quran 6:38-39: وَمَا مِنْ دَابَّةٍ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَا طَائِرٍ يَطِيرُ بِجَنَاحَيْهِ إِلَّا أُمَمٌ أَمْثَالُكُمْ ۚ مَا فَرَّطْنَا فِي الْكِتَابِ مِنْ شَيْءٍ ۚ ثُمَّ إِلَىٰ رَبِّهِمْ يُحْشَرُونَالَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا بِآيَاتِنَا صُمٌّ وَبُكْمٌ فِي الظُّلُمَاتِ ۗ مَنْ يَشَإِ اللَّهُ يُضْلِلْهُ وَمَنْ يَشَأْ يَجْعَلْهُ عَلَىٰ صِرَاطٍ مُسْتَقِيمٍ

There exists no terrestrial creature or airborne avian, but that they exist as societies akin to your own. Not a single detail escapes our record. Ultimately, they shall all be assembled before their Lord. Those who reject Our signs dwell in a state of spiritual deafness and blindness, shrouded in obscurity. Allah leads astray whom He chooses and guides whom He wills.

Quran 7:189-190: وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِي خَلَقَكُم مِّن نَّفْسٍ وَٰحِدَةٍۢ فَمُسْتَقَرٌّۭ وَمُسْتَوْدَعٌۭۗ قَدْ فَصَّلْنَا ٱلْءَايَـٰتِ لِقَوْمٍۢ يَعْقِلُونَ وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِيْۤ أَنْشَأَكُم مِّن نَّفْسٍ وَّحِدَةٍۢ فَمُسْتَقَرٌّ وَّمُسْتَوْدَعٌۭ ۗ قَدْ فَصَّلْنَا ٱلْءَايَـٰتِ لِقَوْمٍۢ يَّعْلَمُوْنَ

It is He who fashioned you from a singular being, and from him, crafted his spouse, that they may find solace in each other's embrace. When he embraces her, she bears a gentle burden, and as time progresses, they both seek Allah's favor, praying, "Grant us virtuous progeny, and we shall indeed express our gratitude." Yet, when blessed with such offspring, they wrongfully attribute partners to Allah in what He has bestowed upon them. Exalted is Allah beyond the associations they make with Him.
